Chief Webb

Chief WebbOn behalf of the men and women of West Palm Beach Fire Rescue, it is my pleasure to formally welcome you to our Department's web site. We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to learn about our Department and to provide you with valuable information about fire safety in your homes and business, as well as current events in our community.

West Palm Beach Fire Rescue was founded in 1894 and was originally made up of a small group of volunteers know as the "Flagler Alerts", after railroad tycoon Henry Morrison Flagler. Over the past 115 years, our Department has evolved into a team of 200 plus highly skilled professionals that take great pride in serving the residents and visitors of West Palm Beach. Each day we are called to respond to a variety of emergencies including emergency medical calls, structure fires, vehicle accidents, technical rescues and hazardous materials incidents. We respond from 8 Fire Stations strategically located throughout the City. Fire Prevention and Investigation, Injury Prevention and Public Education also play integral roles in enhancing the quality of life that our citizens and visitors expect and deserve. Our goal is to respond whenever and wherever someone has a need with a well trained, well prepared and highly professional staff.

Once again, it is my distinct honor to serve with the members of West Palm Beach Fire Rescue and to welcome you to our newly renovated web site. I hope that you visit often and please feel free to provide us with questions and feedback.
